In an interview with Ellen Degeneres, he came out as gay, and thanked Ellen for being such a great role model. Jussie himself is a pretty awesome role model for African American men who face stereotypes about their sexuality.
2. Caitlyn Jenner
Caitlyn has been open with her transition in her E! show “I Am Cait”, and received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs in July. She went from Bruce, the Olympian picture of masculinity, to Caitlyn, the amazing woman who can hopefully empower others.
3. Ingrid Nilsen
Ingrid is the cutest button of a beauty blogger and she has millions of fans that tune in for her beauty tips. The video in which she comes out to her fans is pretty emotional, and if it doesn’t affect you, you have a heart of steel.
4. Miley Cyrus
“Everything that’s legal, I’m down with. Yo, I’m down with any adult — anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me. I don’t relate to being boy or girl, and I don’t have to have my partner relate to boy or girl.” For Miley Cyrus, who has millions of young fans around the world, to declare that kind of openness, is truly a special thing.
5. Nyle Dimarco
This smoldering hunk starred on “America’s Next Top Model”. And was the first deaf contestant on the show. Outside of the show, he’s an activist for the dead community and model, and he came out as sexually fluid when asked what his sexual preference is.
6. Tim Cook (CEO of Apple)
This business mogul says he came out because “people need to hear that being gay is not a limitation. People need to hear that being gay doesn’t restrict your options in life. People need to hear that you can be gay or transgender and be whatever else you want to in life.’” As the CEO of one of the most successful companies in the world, we can’t disagree.
7. Lily-Rose Depp
She came out by posing for the Self Evident project, a photographic project that documented thousands of people who identified as something other than heterosexual. The project founder has only good things to say about the young beauty.
8. Kristen Stewart
Kristen Stewart was a little more coy about coming out with her relationship with rumored girlfriend Alicia Cargile. Her mother was quoted in an interview as saying the star was bisexual, and following up the rumors, Kristen gave us this comment: “Google me, I’m not hiding.” We did, and her and her GF are way too cute.

This veteran actress who has long been ambiguous concerning her sexuality came out in a public radio interview in November – however, she claims she’s never been hiding “I haven’t come out because I am out. I live out.” Her girlfriend is the talented “American Horror Story” and “Carol” star, Sarah Paulson. Ageists can go to hell – this couple is amazing.
10. Patricia Velasques
Patricia is the world’s first Latina supermodel, and her coming out as a lesbian makes her an incredible role model for little Latina girls all over who are afraid they won’t be successful if they come out as gay. Patricia kept this secret for decades, and when she came out, it was a truly powerful moment.
11. Cara Delevigne
In Vogue, Cara chose to discuss that she fell in love with a girl when she was 20, and realized she had to accept it. She’s now in a relationship with musician St Vincent, and says that relationship is a big part of why she is feeling so happy with herself these days. Aw, Cara. Relationship goals.

These super sexy twin brothers have a ton of fans on Youtube. But their most viral moment is when they came out to their father together, and filmed the emotional moment on their channel. Fortunately, his father reassured him that his love for them will never change.
