Eight Disney Characters Reimagined as Fashionable Models

Mioree (pronounced me-or-ee)  is a professional artist who is busy making a name for herself as an illustrator of fantasy art. Born in 1992 and based in the UK, she got her first digital tablet in 2008 and in her words: “I haven’t looked back since.” We present a list of eight Disney princesses as well as some information about their choice of fashion.

1. Snow White
First up, we have Snow White, whom you might remember as the fairest of them all. She also lives in a house with seven short, bearded men. So there’s that. Also, she probably shouldn’t have eaten that apple.
Her outfit: Gold and blue Chanel dress from the 1593 autumn collection. Red rubies. Red cape.

2. Pocahontas
Next up is Pocahontas. Beautiful, no? Creepy fact though: while in the movie she was portrayed as a young adult, in reality she would have been around 10 years old when John Smith met her.
Her outfit: Simple but fashionable. The dress is part of Versace’s 1610 fashion line. Necklace by Tiffany’s.

3. Anastasia Romanov
Disney’s version of Anastasia’s story was about as Disney as it gets. While the real Anastasia, the daughter of Nicholas II the last Czar of Russia, was sadly murdered along with the rest of the Romanov family, in this alternative universe, she somehow survives.
Her outfit: Yellow and blue dress designed by Valentin Yudashkin, naturally.

4. Hua Mulan
Everybody in China is familiar with this legendary woman warrior and thanks to the Disney movie made in 1998, so are the rest of us.
Her outfit: Clearly a fashion warrior, her sword really compliments the outfit, which was designed by Liang Zi.

5. Belle
Fun fact: the Beauty and the Beast story originated around 4,000 years ago.
Her outfit: This classy yellow gown was designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier. The mirror was bought at Jacques Discount Mirrors.

6. Jasmine
Fun Fact: Jasmine from Aladdin is our favorite Disney princess over here at Her Beauty.
Her outfit: Designed by Mohammed Ashi, this blue number really brings out the brightness of her eyes.

7. Sleeping Beauty
If you haven’t seen this movie in a while or ever, let me summarize it for you and save you a couple of hours: a beautiful woman who sleeps a lot.
Her outfit: It seems like a nightgown would have been more appropriate attire, but what can you do? Her dress was designed by Calvin Klein.

8. Esmeralda
Dark fact: In the original Victor Hugo novel of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Esmeralda is executed by hanging while Frollo laughs. But clearly Disney wasn’t interested in destroying childhoods, so in their version she lives happily ever after.
Her outfit: This is definitely something that could only have come from the brilliant mind of Thierry Mugler.
