Times when cars were just a necessity are long gone. These days cars are more of a statement. Many of us are obsessed with cars. Our car is no longer just a convenient way to get from point A to point B. It’s a reflection of our personality, a fashion statement, in some cases, a luxurious toy that exists to showcase your financial status. Yes, of course we care about what’s inside and how fast cars are, but we also care a great deal how they look and what does our choice of car says about us. Have you ever wondered what your car would look like if it were a woman? And if it’s an expensive car – would it be a supermodel?
Photographer Viktorija Pashuta decided to explore this in her latest project “What if cars were supermodels?” In order to bring this project to life, the talented photographer got together with 12 supermodels and stylists Jesse J & Kim Sheree. They managed to style each model and create 12 different looks that reflected the features of 12 different cars. The pictures were first published in Basic magazine and soon after became a viral sensation.
This isn’t the first viral project for Viktorija. She’s also the author of “What If Guys Were Social Networks?” and “What If Girls Were Internet Browsers?”.
In her latest project “What If Cars Were Supermodels” Viktorija also asked the models to come up with a quote that reflects the style of the car they’re portraying. Let’s look at the results, shall we?
