We, as women, often feel jealous of men’s legs. They do seem to have the better deal and they don’t have to work for it at all. They just naturally have slim, muscular legs and we just think it’s not fair. However, when they wear skirts, we have no complaints. Who said skirts are just for women. Men can wear skirts too, and actually look freaking amazing in them.
1. Vin Diesel, MTV awards in Edinburgh 2003
Who knew Vin Diesel would look so good in a skirt? I mean, technically it’s a kilt he wore because he was in Scotland, but hey, it’s all leather and badass and Vin Diesel just looks like he’s having a lot of fun with it.
2. Brad Pitt, Troy
We don’t really know what to call this “skirt”. It’s part of his costume for Troy, and obviously that’s what men wore at the time. But doesn’t he just look amazing? Look at those legs, ladies. Don’t you wish your legs were that thin and fit?
3. Ewan McGregor
Ewan is no stranger to kilts. He is Scottish after all. He’s been seen wearing a kilt many a time. All sorts of red carpet events in Britain and whenever he just feels like showing pride in his country. But look how freaking cool he looks in this one. Paired with a leather jacket and some leather boots, he looks like he’s ready to rock the place.
4. Marc Jacobs
Marc loves skirts, and boy he does know how to wear them. You know he looks better in skirts than most women. He has been spotted wearing a skirt more times than any Scottish man probably, and he’s not even partly Scottish. What can we say, this man has a preference for skirts and he looks damn fine wearing them.
5. David Duchovny, at the premiere of Return to Me, 2000
David is part Scottish, his mother was an immigrant from Aberdeen, Scotland. So he’s been seen wearing a kilt, when the occasion calls for it. We’ve got to say, we wish he wore it more often. He looks quite dashing in it.
6. Russell Crowe, Gladiator
Russell Crowe is the manliest man ever, don’t you think? And wearing a skirt doesn’t diminish that in the least. In fact, he still looked freaking menacing in Gladiator. Skirt or not, you wouldn’t want to cross this man’s path.
7. Jaden Smith for Louis Vuitton Campaign
Jaden Smith has made it clear that he doesn’t believe in gender stereotypes. If he wants to wear a skirt or a dress he just wears it. And it just doesn’t make sense to him when people say he’s wearing a girl’s skirt, because he bought a skirt, he’s wearing it, it’s his skirt. We really do need more guys like Jaden in this world.
8. Kanye West, ‘Watch The Throne’ performance
Even Kanye West has jumped on the bandwagon and wore a leather skirt on stage. I mean, do you really need any more reasons to believe that skirts aren’t just for women. Granted, he wore trousers under the skirt, but you know, little steps.
9. Rory McCann
You probably recognize Rory McCann as Sandor Clegane from Game of Thrones. While his costume on the show doesn’t really involve skirts, he sure wears them a lot of camera. Rory’s Scottish, so you know, he’s got the freedom to wear a kilt whenever he wants and not worry about it. Oh, those European men, they’re just way cooler with wearing skirts.
When in Scotland, you know. Even P-Diddy wore a kilt for his performance in Scotland, and dare we say he looked smashing. The crowd loved it, and it looked like P-Diddy was enjoying himself too. In conclusion – more men should go to Scotland and try wearing a kilt. We’re sure the world would become a better place after that.
