Atytpical is your typical family drama – except it centers around an autistic 18 year old named Sam. Sam is out there looking for independence through his autism, and also a girlfriend. The show encourages compassionate inclusivity and educates us on autism while making us laugh.
10. Skins
Skins was one of the first edgy series post-Degrassi, written for teens by teens. It covered lots of controversial waters, to the beat of a very lit soundtrack.
