Carrie Bradshaw’s Top 10 Sex And The City Boyfriends, Ranked

Carrie Bradshaw from “Sex and The City” had a love life that kept viewers riveted for six seasons. From steamy affairs to will-they-or-won’t-they storylines, the fashionista had no shortage of great loves throughout the show. Alongside Carrie, fans fell head over heels for some of these love interests. Here are the top 10 “Sex and the City” boyfriends, from the charming Mr. Big to the mellow Aiden Shaw.

10. Jeremiah

Jeremiah had it all on paper—he had a below-the-belt tattoo, did performance art, and somehow was able to pay the NYC bill even though his only side hustle was being a cater waiter. He could even do a mean karaoke version of “Joy To The World.” Sadly, Jeremiah never got a proper chance since Carrie would fall under Big’s spell soon after meeting him.

9. Sean

Played by Eddie Cahill, heartthrob Sean was everything a woman could ask for: he was kind, valued honesty, and helped facilitate the perfect ice skating date. But the fact that he was bisexual might have been a little too much for Carrie. Well, that’s her loss!

8. Vaughn Wysel

Justin Theroux’s character Vaughn Wysel was a charming intellectual hunk that “SATC” viewers went gaga over. He was a successful short story writer, had a wicked sense of humor, and got his own spread in GQ. Unfortunately, Vaughn and Carrie were unable to overcome their bedroom issues, as the author was in denial about his struggles with sexual performance.

7. Aleksandr Petrovsky

Played by the famous (and smoldering) dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov, mega babe Aleksandr played a Russian artist and was one of the most memorable love interests in the show. Although these two could have made it the distance, Aleksandr couldn’t stop putting his work before Carrie.

6. Dr. Bradley Meego

Who doesn’t want to date a doctor who has a home in the Hamptons? Dr. Bradley was a good match for Carrie, although some people on the internet didn’t think he was attractive enough for her. He also helped rescue Carrie during Crabgate. But being a good guy with pedigree wasn’t enough for the columnist, it turns out.

5. Ben

Ben, more commonly referred to by Gen Z as the “tweety bird tattoo guy,” was a good-natured political magazine editor featured in Season 2 of the show. In the episode “The Freak Show,” Carrie ruined her chances with Ben when she started snooping through all his belongings due to her trust issues from the past. Ah, jealousy, that green-eyed monster…

4. Jack Berger

Jack Berger was a writer like a few of Carrie’s other beaus. It looks like this fashion columnist really has a thing for writers! While his boyish floppy hair and allure were easy to fall for, the brooding Jack came with a lot of baggage and red flags, including being weirdly obsessed with his ex-girlfriend, being wildly jealous, and writing rude Post-it notes.

3. Joe

Joe, an MLB player, was serving up Golden Retriever good guy energy, but Carrie messed it up with the most awkward faux pas of the century when she cried in his mouth. The athlete showed up in the premiere of Season 2. The new Yankee was hilarious and handsome, but he didn’t stand a chance next to Big.

2. John James Preston, a.k.a. Mr. Big

No one can deny that Carrie and Mr. Big’s relationship was extremely toxic, yet he somehow ended up with her in the end. He consistently acted detached, avoidant, selfish, and completely shallow. In short, he was the worst, yet Carrie was always drawn in by him, no matter how often she tried to start over with someone else. Unfortunately, this is a story many women are familiar with, so despite Big being trash, it was a relatable love story.

1. Aiden Shaw

Aiden still makes us swoon. As of the show’s finale, he was always the one that got away, but Carrie got her chance again in the latest season of the “Sex and the City” reboot dubbed “And Just Like That.” Aiden loved everything about her, could build and design furniture, and inspired Carrie to be her best self. His morals and qualities as a partner also made him the superior romantic interest in this show. Their story remains complicated, but it’s not over yet, so stay tuned!
