Nick Jonas began his career pretty early on. He was singing and acting from the age of 6, and he even wrote his own song and got noticed by a record label which led to his single being released and then the formation of the band Jonas Brothers. His proper breakthrough came when he starred in a Disney Channel movie and from that point on his music and acting career was in full swing. Even after the Jonas Brothers broke up he still successfully continued to be a solo musician. He’s also gotten a lot of attention recently for marrying Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra who is 10 years older than him. But this is pretty well known information, if you want to find out some Nick Jonas facts you probably didn’t know – just keep on reading.

1. Nick Jonas Firsts

The first song Nick Jonas learned to sing was “If you’re happy and you know it”. The first instrument he learned to play was the drums. The first concert Nick ever went to was Switchfoot and funnily enough that was at the venue that the Jonas Brothers would have their first sold out concert of their own in.

2. Nick Jonas’ Scar

Nick has a scar on his middle finger from a switchblade knife. He cut himself when he was only 9 years old. He shouldn’t have been playing with a knife at such an early age, obviously but I guess he’s learned his lesson that day and he’ll have the reminder for the rest of his life.

3. Nick Jonas Food

Nick is from New Jersey and he thinks that the most New Jersey thing about him is that he loves Italian food. But then again who doesn’t? I mean is it really a New Jersey thing to love pizza? Everyone loves pizza and if they don’t we’re not sure they’re even human.

4. Nick Jonas’ Fans

According to Nick the craziest thing that a fan has done was burns into tears upon seeing Nick. He also has quite a young fan base so occasionally he has to deal with his fans’ parents. This one time a parent snuck into his dressing room, ate all the catering and just left. The weirdest thing he had to sign for a fan is a pair of socks, which are apparently pretty tricky to sign.

5. Nick Jonas and Priyanka

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas recently got married and had a pretty incredible wedding ceremony and celebration party that lasted a whole week. They seem to be pretty happy together but some people find it really concerning that Priyanka and Nick have a 10 year age difference.

6. Nick Jonas Wilderness

In a hypothetical scenario, if Nick had to live in the wilderness the three items he would take with him would be insulin (because he’s diabetic), water and some god books. Nick admits he hates reading, but since there wouldn’t be any electricity or WiFi in the wilderness he might as well read some good books.

7. Nick Jonas Collaborations

Nick has collaborated with many different artists throughout the years but the weirdest collaboration he did was probably with Will I Am. Halfway through their session Will just left and kind of disappeared for two hours. Nick thought he just abandoned him and isn’t coming back, so he started to get ready to leave and then Will just came in and was like “sorry, I had to stop by a friend’s birthday, but I’m back now”.

8. Things Nick Jonas Hates

So here are a few things that Nick Jonas absolutely hates. He thinks the #blessed should be banned and that no one should ever say YOLO ever again. He also hates running and the idea of swimming with sharks doesn’t sound exciting and thrilling to him, in fact he would never agree to that.

9. Nick Jonas and Fitness

So we know that Nick hates running, so we’re gonna assume classic cardio is out of the question for him. But how does he stay in shape? Well he really likes boxing and if he could have a professional famous boxer coach him, he’d go for Mike Tyson, not only cause he’s really good and legendary but also because he’d want to hear all the crazy stories Mike could tell.

10. Nick Jonas’ Family

So we all know Nick has brothers, but do you know what he’s better at than them? Apparently his thing is playing golf, he can definitely beat all of them at golf. But in turn they would kick his butt when it comes to playing video games. Nick considers his father to be the most influential teacher in his life, but he’s also incredibly thankful to his mum for teaching him sign language.
