Golden Globes are all about amazing work done in film. They generally give us a lot of ideas on what’s a good movie or TV show that we might’ve missed, they also are a great way to predict who’s a good contender for Oscars and who might have a good chance to win. But we can’t deny that it’s also a glamorous Hollywood event that includes a lot of interesting fashion choices, incredible outfits, stylish accessories and stunning makeup. So let’s indulge ourselves and take a look at 12 best beauty looks from the 2019 Golden Globes.

Jamie Lee Curtis
Jamie Lee Curtis looked absolutely mesmerizing at the Golden Globes. Her all-white outfit with metallic accents made her look like a goddess, and the natural makeup and flower earrings only added to that look of utter perfection.

Kaley Cuoco
Kaley Cuoco looked very chill and happy with herself. And why shouldn’t she? Her whole look screamed, “I woke up like this”. Neutral makeup, effortless hairstyle, some nice long sparkly earrings and a dress that is incredibly flattering that also has pockets, what’s not to like?

Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga looked royal at the Golden Globes this year in that massive blue off-shoulder dress, but what we liked best is that everything she wore seemed to match. That necklace is to die for and it complimented her outfit, her makeup was also neutral but with a blue-ish smokey eye, which looked great with her blue hair and dress.

Irina Shayk
Irina Shayk was positively glowing this evening and we’re not talking about her golden dress. Her skin looked absolutely flawless. We don’t know if she’s just that perfect or if her makeup artist is the god of “no makeup” makeup looks but either way we’re jealous.

Lupita Nyong’o
Lupita went for a rather tame look but the little blue accents in her eye makeup is what won us over. It’s so understated, yet it definitely catches your attention. It’s absolutely brilliant! A look that’s worth trying out for when you want something low effort but maximum effect.

Camilla Belle
Camilla Belle, on the other hand, went all out with her makeup at the Golden Globes. That green eye makeup definitely made her look very dramatic and the very deep hair part only added to that. She kept the rest of her makeup neutral, which accentuated her eyes nicely.

Janelle Monáe
Jenelle looked like a golden sunkissed goddess at the Golden Globes. We loved the warm shimmery makeup, the braided buns she wore and her headpiece added a nice touch too. What a queen!

Lili Reinhart
Lili Reinhart made a brave choice with her red eye makeup look, but it definitely paid off. It matched her dress perfectly and made her blue eyes pop. She also left her lips neutral, which made sure her makeup didn’t look too “out there” or “overboard”. We also loved her delicate long earrings.

Saoirse Ronan
Saoirse Ronan looked incredible with her orangey-red lipstick and shimmery yet understated eye makeup. She looked so Hollywood in her metallic dress with a deep V neckline, but her beautiful earrings with green gems did a great job at adding a bit of Irish charm to her look.

Gemma Chan
Gemma Chan reinstated the fact that a red lip will always be a classic. You just can’t go wrong with a nice red lip. Her statement earrings added even more glam to her otherwise very chic look.

Amber Heard
Amber Heard looked quite royal with her dark red lipstick and perfectly arranged curls. We especially loved the symmetrical and non-matching earrings she wore. The deep red gems on one side and long golden ones on the other.

Anne Hathaway
Anne Hathaway took leopard print to a whole new level with her dress, but we’d like to point out how perfectly her earrings matched it. She went with a neutral makeup look not to clash with her outfit and accessories, and her perfectly straight hair with a middle part only added to this high-class polished look.
