1. She’s Vegan

2. Brie Larson Isn’t Her Real Name
Her actual name is Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers. That’s quite a mouthful don’t you think? That’s because her father is of French Canadian descent. She shortened her first name to Brie and changed her last name so it would be easier to remember and pronounce. Brie Larson is her stage name. Why did she go with Larson? Well, there are two possible reasons. It’s the maiden name of her maternal grandmother and also she had an American Girl doll called Kirsten Larson.
3. She Used To Be A Pop Star
Before pursuing an acting career Brie first attempted to be a singer. She has a great voice and she can play the guitar. She even has an album which she released soon after graduating from school called “Finally Out Of P.E.”.
