8 TV Series Characters We Would Love to See Together

Some couples in TV shows get their happy endings, while others get storylines that don’t do their fierce passion justice. Here are TV characters we would have adored as couples – they deserved to finish their seasons with fairytale endings, but it just wasn’t written into their destinies.

1. Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow, Game of Thrones

The gorgeous Daenerys met Jon Snow in the 7th season, acting as allies to each other and collaborating to reach their goals. In the process of their teamwork, they realized that they’d make a pretty good team romantically, as well, Their affair ended with Jon stabbing Daenerys to death in order to prevent multiple deaths of innocent people. We commend Jon for his morality, but wish we could have seen a longer shelf life to Daenerys.

2. Eric Northman and Sookie Stackhouse, True Blood

Sookie decided to go with angel on her shoulder Bill instead of extremely sexy and devilish Eric Northman, and for that we’ll never forgive her. Even though he deceived her into drinking his blood, their bond afterwards were unforgettable – especially in Season 4!

3. Eve Polastri and Villanelle, Killing Eve

The formidable Villanelle and the cunning Eve have a love/hate relationship, to say the least. When they’re not trying to kill each other, it’s hard not to focus on the white-hot passion that runs between these two. The will-they-won’t-they suspense is killing us this season!

4. Angela Chase and Jordan Catalan, My So Called Life

This was definitely Jared Leto’s peak, but he was still a psycho who slept with her best friend and trended to pen her letters. We’re all for second chances, but we do agree that Jordan was Mr. Shady throughout the series. Either way, we’d ship them as a couple.

5. Joey Tribbiani and Rachel Greene, Friends

These two had a brief relationship that wasn’t as dramatic as the one between Rachel and Ross, but we think that Rachel needed a dose of Joey’s lightheartedness instead of the insecure, and selfish man that Ross could be at times. We wish this relationship could have played out longer. I mean, their journey lasted through multiple hairstyles and presidents, so naturally we were rooting for them instead!

6. Frasier Crane and Roz Doyle, Frasier

It took these two a really long time to get together. Eventually, they realized that their relationship was meant to stay a friendship, in a rare twist of TV tropes. However, this forbidden fruit aspect made us want to see them as a couple even more.

7. Shawn Hunter and Angela Moore, Boy Meets World

Angela and Shawn were a couple that we shipped hard, growing up. They would have made the most adorable babies, and found common ground over their family problems and hobbies. They made it all the way to Girl Meet World, where their time together came to a disappointing end.

8. Robin Scherbatsky and Barney Stinson, How I Met Your Mother

Barney and our favorite Canadian ex pop star had their ups and downs for many seasons – even though they made each other a priority, their relationship eventually ended in a divorce that didn’t really make sense to viewers, and left a lot of fans angry at the finale.
