After the success of Game of Thrones, we’re pretty sure everyone has a crush on Emilia Clarke. But while the internet is bursting with stats like Emilia Clarke’s age or Emilia Clarke’s height, we’d like to tell you something more interesting about her. Something that will tell you more about her personality, character and what kind of a girl she is. And as a little spoiler, let’s just say you won’t be bored. She’s one hell of a woman. She’s a joy to watch on screen and a pleasure to be around.
1. She Tried To Steal Dragon Eggs
You’d think as the mother of dragons she’s be given some, but no. According to Emilia, the dragon eggs on Game of Thrones are incredibly beautiful and proper works of art, but they’re also seriously heavy and crazy expensive. So despite trying to but she never actually succeeded in stealing them. She did hear that apparently, Jay-Z bought one or two for Beyoncé.
2. Her Smile Lights Up The Room
Apart from being a total badass on GOT, Emilia is an incredibly sweet and cheerful person. And once you’ve witnessed it, you know that Emilia Clarke’s smile cures depression, relieved anxiety and instantly brightens your day. It’s on the waiting list to become one of the wonders of the world. I mean, seriously, that girl has such an adorable smile. And her laugh is so infectious too.
3. She Turned Down 50 Shades Of Grey
Emilia has nothing against nudity and she’s done some nude scenes before, but even though she was considered for the role of Anastasia in 50 Shades of Grey and she wanted to work with the director – she decided it’s too much nudity. Think about it, she works on Game of Thrones and she thought 50 Shades of Grey was too much. Makes you see it from a whole other perspective, doesn’t it?
4. She’s Got Beautiful Eyes
Emilia Clarke’s eyes are something out of this world. They can look so different it’s hard to pinpoint the color, but you can’t help but think they’re stunning. And she’s always got that glint in her eye like she knows a secret or is about to do something cheeky. The secret is – Emilia’s got central heterochromia: both of her irises are grey on the outer rim, but they are hazel on the inner rim.
5. She Has A Crush On Channing Tatum and His Wife
I mean it’s not exactly surprising that Emilia has a crush on Channing Tatum, many people do. But she thinks his wife Jenna Dewan is incredibly attractive too. But she once saw them at the Golden Globes and just couldn’t contain herself so she offered “I cannot contain this. Please, can we all have something sexual together? You’re both beautiful, even just a hug.”
6. She’s Happy On Her Own
While Emilia Clarke’s boyfriend is a constantly discussed topic of conversation she seems to be very happy on her own. She has been linked to many famous men in the past, and while she was recently dating director Charlie McDowell up until this summer, the two have split quietly and Emilia seems to be just fine, hanging out with friends, family and taking trips with her girlfriends.
7. She Gets Sentimental Tattoos
Emilia has three tattoos as far as we know, and two of them are definitely sentimental and have to do with the work projects that she wants to remember forever. She got a bumblebee tattoo on her pinkie to remember her time working on the film Me Before You. And of course, she got those three baby dragons on her wrist to signify the fact that she will always be the mother of dragons.
8. She Doesn’t Take Herself Too Seriously
Her very first audition was at the age of ten and when she was asked to sing she improvised and sang a song about a donkey. When they asked her to sing something more popular she tried her best and did a rendition of Spice Girls complete with dance moves. That’s adorable for someone who’s ten, but she didn’t stop there. When auditioning for Game of Thrones she did the funky chicken dance just cause she thought it would be funny.
