The Internet Blames Meghan Markle For The Queen’s Death

The internet will really find any reason possible to blame Meghan Markle for whatever drama is going on in the Royal Family. When the Queen of England passed away on September 8, 2022. Although many people grieved this loss in an appropriate way, a couple of people online found a way to bring it all back to poor Meg. While some of the comments clearly have a humorous tone, others are more sinister.

At the beginning, it was announced that doctors were observing the Queen with the statement, “Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision. The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”

As soon as the Balmoral gathering began, people on Twitter came up with the idea that the Queen’s poor health was tied back to Meghan Markle. The BBC reported that she would not be attending Balmoral with her husband. Given the way she was treated by that whole family, we’re not surprised! Additionally, Kate Middleton didn’t show up either, but that didn’t stop folks from implying that the family was banning Meghan from Balmoral.

Others are shaking their heads at these rumors, which seem to originate from the same hatred that Meg has been dealing with ever since she started dating Prince Harry. Even though the Queen was 96 years old and had failing health, the people with the race hate have somehow found a brand new conspiracy theory that they can’t let go of.

The Queen’s eldest son, Charles released the following statement when the Queen passed on the 8th of September:

“The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family. We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved mother. I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world. During this period of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which The Queen was so widely held.”

The news and media outlets also got some flack, with one Twitter user writing that “tabloid goons” were being allowed to “export their racist hate for #MeghanMarkle to MSM like ABC, CBS and NBC in the US by the same clowns.” Some question how deeply in mourning some UK citizens really are, if they’re still finding the strength to say such vicious things about Harry’s wife.

Ever since the beginning, Meghan has been attacked from all angles. Part of it comes from the fact that she spent years working in entertainment rather than having a proper background, the other part comes from people who are upset that she had experienced divorce before. And another ugly part is the deeply engrained racism in the UK and the royal family.

Although on the surface, Meghan seemed to get along fine with the Queen, there was obvious strife with some other family members, and when people found out the horrible statements said about her and her son Archie, it’s no wonder that she made the decision to depart with her husband rather than tolerate the abuse.

The reality is that the Queen of England lived a long and happy life, starting her life as a prominent figure of royalty at the young age of 25. She reigned through multiple revolutionary events like the Space Race, the British Invasion and the establishment of the European Union. She’ll be remembered for her vibrant outfits, elegant and regal demeanour and history-making actions, no matter how controversial they may be.

With films like “The Queen” and series like “The Crown” on carry on her legacy, it’s clear that her story is a completely different one than Meghan’s. People should be focusing on her 70 years of reign, and wondering whether King Charles will be seen on the Canadian $20 bill anytime soon.

We should learn from history and leave Meghan alone — no one knows this better than Prince Harry, who had to tragically deal with the passing of his own mother due to the hounding, bullying nature of the press and the public. Hopefully, Harry and his wife are finding a way to shut out the gossip and peacefully process the loss of their elder family member.
