Beauty trends are constantly changing, and failing to adapt to new standards can affect how a person is seen in the world. And in the entertainment world, that logic is even stronger. Once upon a time, thin eyebrows were trending in the ’90s. A couple of decades later, thick eyebrows are all the rage. Fillers are commonly used by stars and everyday people alike to achieve a fuller look in the face or lips, and many celebrities have spent time experimenting with injectables to achieve results. But many have taken things a step too far and gotten flak for it. As a result, some celebs have dissolved their fillers to achieve a more natural look, and many fans and followers think that the result is a major improvement. Here are the top celebs who decided to dissolve their fillers.
Courteney Cox
This sitcom queen is known for playing Monica on “Friends” but has also starred in iconic movies like the “Scream” franchise and “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.” She started using fillers to maintain a more youthful look, but the result missed the mark. That’s when she decided to get the fillers dissolved. Today, she regrets ever turning to them in the first place, telling People, “You don’t realize what it looks like to the outside person, and just doing too many fillers. I look at pictures of me from when I thought I looked okay, and I can’t believe it.”

Kylie Jenner
Many say that Kylie’s numerous cosmetic procedures make her look older than she really is, and fillers play a role in that. She started injecting her lips around 2014, when she was only 17, and helped make it more acceptable for celebs under 18 to get lip injections, which many disagreed with. At the 2026 BAFTAs, she showed off a new look that debuted with thinner lips, and fans were excited, to say the least. One Redditor had high hopes she would dissolve her BBL, while another said, “She was trying to look like a Kardashian. She’s beautiful now. And the happiness is shining bright!”

Simon Cowell
This grumpy judge might be the one dishing out harsh judgments, but he’s also received a fair amount for his ever-evolving appearance. Among the criticism, one Redditor said, “The sad part is if the dude just allowed himself to age normally, the beard would have looked good with that combo. Now he looks like the villain at the end of the ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ movie.” It turns out Simon can dish it out, but he can’t take it, because he dissolved his filler after all the feedback and seeing a picture where he didn’t recognize himself.

Blac Chyna
Blac Chyna is no stranger to surgical enhancements these days, but many have felt the loss of her natural beauty, with social media analyzing her lips and cheeks and saying that she was perfectly attractive before. It looks like Chyna felt the same and embraced her face without fillers, getting them removed from her jawline and cheeks. In a 2023 Instagram video, she said, “Enough is enough, it all has to come out. I ain’t even worried about no stinging. I just want it out.”

Kristin Davis
Charlotte from “Sex and the City” transformed significantly with the help of Botox and filler, and she was ripped apart online for the less-than-subtle change. She’s spoken out about the public speculation and comments, telling The Telegraph that she got her fillers dissolved as a result: “I have done fillers and it’s been good and I’ve done fillers and it’s been bad. I’ve had to get them dissolved and I’ve been ridiculed relentlessly. And I have shed tears about it. It’s very stressful.”

Cardi B
Cardi B has embraced her cosmetic enhancements, from biopolymer injections in her rear end to breast augmentation. She was once mocked for having a tiny frame, and it made her feel unattractive. Cardi once told People, “I was really skinny when I was younger and, in the Bronx, it’s about being thick and having an a**, so young boys would be like, ‘Look at your flat a**. You ain’t got no t*****s.” She decided to remove much of the filler and butt injections, saying that it took years.

Courtney Stodden
This star rose to fame as a teenager for her inappropriate relationship with the much-older actor Doug Hutchinson. She started injecting filler when she was just 17 years old but regretted it years later, explaining how she thought she had to change herself to be accepted and that she was “chasing perfection” and “running from insecurity,” according to an Instagram post. In the same post, she announced that she had dissolved her lip filler as part of a larger goal to redefine beauty on her own terms and rebuild confidence in her natural self.

Lottie Moss
While Lottie didn’t quite reach the superstardom of her big sister Kate Moss, she’s still carved out a niche for herself, modeling for publications like Dazed and Vogue in the 2010s. For a long time, part of what defined Lottie was her pouty, plump lips, which she achieved through fillers. Like Kylie Jenner, she started at a young age before her features had fully developed, and in 2025, she decided to dissolve her filler to feel more like herself again.

Jeff Lewis
This real estate star from Bravo didn’t undergo a dramatic before-and-after filler makeover after achieving fame. Instead, he got his work done decades before, telling SiriusXM’s “Radio Andy” that he only got the filler removed after it migrated, which is a very real risk for people who undergo this procedure. It manifested in the form of little balls on his upper lip, and he needed to cut his lip open to get it taken out. Still, after lasting 20 years, we’d say that filler had a pretty good run!
Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande was elevated to icon status in the mid-2020s, and she experienced a whole new level of fame when she starred as Glinda Good in the film adaptation of “Wicked.” Part of crafting her superstar persona and moving from child star to vixen was using injectables and Botox, but in a 2023 Vogue video, she admitted that she stopped in 2018 because it felt like “too much” and that, since she stopped getting it, she felt like she was no longer hiding. She made sure to note that she wasn’t shaming people who still get fillers, but that she wanted to see her well-earned cry lines and smile lines.
