What many may assume is that people aren’t friendly with their ex’s new love interest. It’s pretty standard to not want to have anything to do with your ex, and especially not the person they date after you. But oddly enough, there are actually people who don’t follow this line of thinking. Some people actually become friends with the people their exes date after them. And in the alternate world of celebrities, it actually happens more often than you would think. While it may sound messy and like a potential cesspool of drama, it seems like these celebs actually took the high road and found a way to all get along. Chris Martin is the common love denominator between Gwyneth Paltrow and Dakota Johnson, but the two have become great friends. In an interview, Paltrow said that she realizes their friendship is somewhat different, but said that she adores Johnson.

Will Smith was married to actress Sheree Zampino and had Smith’s eldest son together.
