1. Tyler Posey
Miley’s first-ever BF met when they were younger than 10 years old. Posey said on “Larry King Now” that his first romantic moments with Miley followed as such, “She was trying to make me do a kissy face. And then she kissed me. She planted a big one right on my mouth, and I loved it,” he revealed. “… It was very awkward and very young … and cute, and sweet, and wholesome.” Oh, puppy love!
2. Dylan Sprouse and Nick Jonas
Who wouldn’t want to be stuck in a love triangle with these two hotties? When Miley left Sprouse for Nick Jonas, Sprouse had some words to say about being left for the most famous boy band member in the world at the time: “We met at her set, I believe, and we dated. And then Nick Jonas walked by, and it was over.” Nick and Miley were an item from 2006 to 2008. Funnily enough, it ended with another love triangle, where Nick left Miley for Selena Gomez.
3. Justin Gaston
Before the Liam era, Justin Gaston was a serious love interest of Miley. The two dated when she was 16, meeting when Gaston starred in the singing competition “Nashville Star” co-hosted by Miley’s dad. Their romance lasted just under a year, as she met Liam Hemsworth right after, who she filmed “The Last Song” with. Apparently, it wasn’t just filming that caused conflict, but the fact that Miley was back in touch with her ex Nick. Justin commented, “She didn’t cheat, but I guess Nick was trying to get her back the whole time.”
4. Liam Hemsworth
Possibly Miley’s most famous ex, these two met on a movie set and fell in love in real life. After dating intermittently for a decade, they decided to get married in 2018 and broke up just seven months later. Despite having an intense romance, things didn’t last. The Aussie made a statement on IG: “Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.”
5. Avan Jogia
When she was 18 and starting to shed her innocent Disney rep, she was seen in a passionate make-out session with Nickelodeon actor Avan Jogia. The steamy shots were published by the Daily Mail, and at the time, Miley was on a break with her ex Liam. Jogia called her sweet, down-to-earth, and nice, but he ultimately lost out to Hemsworth soon after.
6. Kellan Lutz
Miley has always been one for the drama, and in 2013, the world saw photos of Miley with Kellan Lutz, one of Liam Hemsworth’s best friends. While the couple was apparently on a break, the photos of them landing in Miami on the same private plane sparked rumors, and there were also sources reporting that they were making out at a club in Vegas. Lutz said it was all gossip, and no hard feelings ensued, sharing, “It was hearsay, that was all gossip stuff. I hope they’re very happy and it lasts forever ’cause they’re both beautiful people.”
7. Patrick Schwarzenegger
In 2014 on yet another break from Liam, things got steamy between Patrick and Miley. The two had an affair for around five months and even went on a romantic trip to Hawaii. In 2011, Patrick admitted he had a crush on the star, saying, “My eye … is set on Miley” and Cyrus even vacationed with his family on an Idaho ski trip. He was caught being unfaithful as he did body shots off a woman, but suspiciously tweeted, “Omg. It’s one of my best friends’ girlfriend…” Sure…
8. Stella Maxwell
Cyrus has always been open about her pansexual identity, and after Patrick Schwarzenegger, decided to try something new with gorgeous Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell. The celebs met through Cyrus’ personal assistant, and when asked about if Cyrus was her significant other, the VS Angel said, “Define significant…” According to Miley, the two were just having fun.
9. Kaitlynn Carter
Miley proved that girls have more fun when she vacationed with Brody Jenner’s ex-wife, Kaitlynn Carter. They had just separated from their hubbies in 2019, and the paparazzi picked up photos filled with PDA exchanges between them. Although they called it quits two months later, it was Carter’s first experience with a woman. Back in October 2019, these two were an item. They even quarantined together during Covid, often posting pictures on Instagram.
