Bring it On was released back in the summer of 2000, and it is just as much of a hit now as it was then. The film follows the journey of a high school cheerleading squad and their road to glory and success in the world of cheerleading competitions. The movie is packed with humor, lessons and actually touches base on some important issues that still plague society today. This movie has become one of the most well known and beloved films of the early 2000’s teeny-bopper high school comedies. The cast of Bring it On became pretty popular for the roles they played in the film, and have become synonymous with some of the famous one liners that make this movie so cheesy but great. But after 21 years since the release of this film, what has the cast of Bring it On been up to? Did they all continue acting, or have some of them stepped away from the limelight? Kirsten Dunst

Kirsten Dunst was the main actor in Bring it On. She played the role of Torrance, but had been acting for 10 years prior to this movie. But this film really launched her career, as she starred in several films after including, Spider Man, Mona Lisa Smile, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Marie Antoinette.

Gabrielle Union

Gabrielle Unoin was a well-known actor for lesser roles before she played Isis with Bring it On, the captain of rival cheerleading squad the Clovers. She almost passed on the role, but accepted because of the film’s focus on diversity. She had appeared in things like, She’s All That, Seventh Heaven, and Love & Basketball, prior to Bring it On. After, she landed roles in things like Being Mary Jane, Think Like A Man, and L.A.’s Finest. 

Eliza Dushku

Eliza Dushku played the role of Missy in Bring it On. She was the sidekick and friend of Torrance. Before this movie, she played the role of Faith on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which was one role that showed Bring it On producers just how perfect she’d be for the role of Missy. She has starred in several things since Bring it On, like Dollhouse, Leap Year, and the films Eloise and The Saint.

Jesse Bradford

Jesse Bradford played the lovable character Cliff, the love interest of Torrance and brother of Missy. Jesse Bradford was 21 years old when he played the teenaged character of Cliff, beating out both Jason Schwartzman and James Franco for the role. He has starred in other things since, like the show called Shooter and movies like The Year of Spectacular Men. 

Nicole Bilderback

Nicole Bilderback played one of the minor roles of Whitney in Bring it On. Before that, she played summer in Clueless, with the likes of Alicia Silverstone. She was also a regular on the show Dawson’s Creek. After Bring it On, she played in TV shows like Good Girls and NCIS: New Orleans, as well as Brooklyn Nine Nine. 

Clare Kramer

Clare Kramer played Courtney on Bring it On, who was the sidekick to Whitney. Before that, she played Glory in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the same show that Dushku starred in too. After Bring it On, she has not acted much at all, but started GeekNation in 2012, a hub for comic, movie and video game fans. She has also produced projects like the GeekNation web series Film Pigs.
