Being a celebrity’s child is a complicated and messy reality. You get the stigma of being a nepo
baby and get barely any privacy. That said, when celebrity kids make a name for themselves in
Hollywood, we get the rare phenomenon of an A-list mother-and-daughter duo gracing the red
carpet. Here are our favorites!
1. Carrie Fisher and Billie Lourd
These two iconic beauties brought poise to the 2015 premiere of “Absolutely Fabulous,” and
Fisher brought a third guest of honor: her French bulldog Gary, who happens to have his own
Instagram account with 140,000 followers. Lourd said that Gary was actually her dog first, but
her mom stole him away because she fell hard for him.

2. Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson
At the 2026 Academy Awards, these blond bombshells stole the show. Hudson rocked a custom
mint Giorgio Armani Privé gown coated in 41 carats of green diamonds, bringing the price tag to
a whopping $35 million, while her ageless mother impressed in a silver and black Grayseful
Maria Lopez gown. Hawn told People, “As we grow older together, I can’t express the amount of
love, joy, laughter, and sadness we share.”

3. Demi Moore and Rumer Willis
Demi Moore and eldest daughter Rumer Willis hit the red carpet for the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar’s
party, where Moore wore a formfitting, sequined black Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello
dress. Her daughter opted for a more airy tulle gown in soft beige with a plunging neckline,
designed by Matija Vuica.

4. Melanie Griffith and Dakota Johnson
Is there anything cuter than a duo that color coordinates? This actress duo popped up for the
2025 premiere of “Splitsville” with Johnson in a strapless metallic gown while her mother wore
an all-white pantsuit, creating a combined look that was cohesive and elegant. On her daughter
appearing in the salacious “Fifty Shades of Grey,” she told “Extra,” “I’m never going to see the
movie myself. … It will just be too awkward.”
5. Zoë Kravitz and Lisa Bonet
These two will always exude effortless cool girl vibes, and nothing encapsulates that better than their appearance at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards. Zoë wore an off-the-shoulder polka dot gown by Saint Laurent, while her mother chose a more whimsical, nature-inspired couture dress by Fendi. Both are sartorial powerhouses, and that’s undeniable—Zoë learned from the best!

6. Beyoncé and Blue Ivy
These two brought the drama at the 2026 Met Gala, which Blue Ivy Carter attended for the first
time at the hyoung age of 14. Her parents were co-chairs that year, and Blue Ivy made her
debut in a cream-colored, voluminous Balenciaga gown paired with matching sunglasses. Her
mother, Queen Bey, wore a stunning sequined skeleton-inspired gown designed by Olivier
Rousteing.
7. Kaia Gerber and Cindy Crawford
These two were twinning at a museum gala, with their luscious brunette waves and form-fitting
dresses. Supermodel Cindy opted for an off-shoulder sequin number while her daughter wore a
tight red gown, both showcasing their timeless beauty. Crawford told Vogue in 2025, “I trust
Kaia’s opinion, but I also don’t wanna be one of those moms that tries too hard. I would never
want to compete with my 23-year-old daughter.”
8. Reese Witherspoon and Ava Phillippe
Speaking of twinning…there’s no shortage of discussion online about how startlingly similar these two look to each other. One might even call them each other’s doppelgängers! At a 2024 Tiffany & Co. event, the resemblance between the two was uncanny, especially as they both wore matching strapless dresses. In 2021, Witherspoon told InStyle, “I love being mistaken for her because it makes me feel so young.”

9. Yolanda Hadid, Bella Hadid, and Gigi Hadid
Three is definitely not a crowd with this gorgeous trio, who looked like some surreal reimagining
of Charlie’s Angels at the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The sister rocked form-hugging,
sequined gowns with a semi-nude look while their mother rocked a more demure all-black
ensemble. She told the New York Post in 2016, “They are so much bigger, better, and smarter
than I ever was.”

10. Margaret Qualley and Andie MacDowell
At an AFI Awards Luncheon, this acting mother-and-daughter duo were all smiles in low-key looks, with Margaret in a spaghetti-strap gray dress while her mother wore a boss-babe suit. They’ve even shared the screen together in the Netflix “Maid,” and it’s clear that the two inspire each other. On getting to work together, Qualley told Netflix’s Tudum, “It was such a special experience for me to be able to work with her and to put so much of my heart into something.”
